With a number of press publications having adopted the Ephoto Dam software in France, Ephoto Dam continues to grow and is entering the Chinese market!
The official daily newspaper of Shanghai’s Minhang district has chosen Ephoto Dam to manage its media files. Because of the newspaper’s growth, they needed to equip themselves with media management software to facilitate their work.
So, 25 photographers and reporters are now working every day with the Ephoto Dam software to store their images, index them, and make them available.
What’s more, to get the most out of all of the newspaper’s multimedia assets, the transfer of data representing 700,000 media has been planned for the first half of 2015.
With the installation of the Ephoto Dam software, the newspaper had to appoint a lead documentalist for the management of their photo library. The lead documentalist supervises the management of user rights and administration of the multimedia database for all users.
Einden received support from France’s Poitou-Charentes region and its Contrat d’Accompagnement à la Stratégie Internationale (CASI, International Strategy Support Contract) program to grow its international business.
