La Poste Group was having trouble managing and organizing all of its media and thus began a search for software capable of responding to its many needs. A lack of organization, the absence of indexing, and wasted time were all factors that pushed the Group to seek out an effective solution that would make the company more productive. After some looking around, La Poste Group found its dream solution: Ephoto Dam!
La Poste Group has several branches: La Banque Postale, the Services-Mail-Packages branch, the network of post offices, etc. As such, the Group had the goal of coming up with a shared thesaurus that would take into account the specific needs of each branch.
After an extensive selection process for the various existing media files, the software was implemented and the Group was able to begin using it. The easy-to-use Ephoto Dam solution now encourages contributions from and collaboration between the Group’s various users.
In line with the Group’s desire to offer its employees an intuitive solution, the DAM platform’s interface was entirely customized to fit the Group’s needs and style guide. As such, users are offered full-text entry, search by organization (the five branches), and access via a directory of keywords.
The ability to really understand how users were utilizing the platform was an essential element that La Poste Group was looking for to ensure the long-term success of its DAM solution. Ephoto Dam’s Statistics module has proven to be very useful for precisely tracking the platform’s usage and traffic: the number of visits per person, unsuccessful searches, search history, etc.
There’s no better way to improve operations and save valuable time!
David Drujon, La Poste Group’s Director of Internal Media, shared with us the benefits that Ephoto Dam has provided to his organization. We are very pleased that we were able to meet his company’s needs and we remain in contact with him to make sure that his DAM project is going well.
And what about you? How could your organization benefit from the Ephoto Dam solution?
