The Montreux Tourism Office works with Ephoto Dam

Montreux-Vevey Tourisme, the regional tourism office that supports the development and promotion of tourism in the area of Montreux, Switzerland, is constantly growing. Indeed, the “Montreux Riviera” region is now home to 17 municipalities, and that means that they have a very large collection of media. As such, Montreux-Vevey Tourisme found that they needed to implement a DAM solution. So, the Montreux Regional Tourism Office decided to work with Ephoto Dam!

Streamlining file management with the Ephoto Dam solution

Aiming to streamline the management of its media files both with in-house staff and external partners, the Montreux Tourism Office selected Ephoto Dam as its DAM solution.
Previously, the Tourism Office used different image databases and FTP servers. Ephoto Dam was able to meet their top three needs: centralization, clarification, and optimization of searches and the sending of images.

Showcasing the Tourism Office’s media database

Thanks to Ephoto Dam, all contributors now have access to an intuitive photo library solution offering an easy, centralized way to add to the multimedia database. Even the software’s login page was customized. It provides an ergonomic interface so that users feel comfortable.

Additionally, thanks to album sharing, distributing media to partners and employees of the Montreux Tourism Office is now controlled and simplified. A time-stamped download link is sent by email to the intended recipients so that they have direct, secure access to the album for a set amount of time: one month, one week, a single download, etc. They don’t even have to enter a special code.

In this way, Ephoto Dam centralizes and streamlines the processes for adding to a media database while guaranteeing effective distribution and showcasing of multimedia files.
