Ephoto Dam 3.12: new horizons

The new version 3.12 has been released and has a number of surprises in store for you. New features have been added to help you effectively manage your digital assets. Don’t wait: check out Ephoto Dam 3.12!

Search tab

Refine your searches

A new faceted search module has been added. It will filter your search results according to various criteria that you can choose (file type, orientation, dominant color, descriptive field, etc.).  With each selected filter, your search results will become more refined. Contextual filters refresh in real time according to the remaining results. That way, you get relevant results in record time thanks to streamlined, intuitive searching.

Get links for selections

This new feature allows you to generate and download a CSV file with the links for displaying each of the selected files (one link per file). These links are optimized for displaying on your websites.

New options for customizing contact sheets

New customization options have been added, like customizing the colors of your cells, their outline color, and the page’s background color. What’s more, you can now insert page numbers, as well as select and configure printing margins.

Customize your contact sheet any way you want so that it meets your needs.

The new LinkedIn tab allows you to share a media gallery directly to LinkedIn.

New video export features

Just like for images, videos have a dedicated export module with specific options so that you can convert the formats and choose the definition of videos. Available formats are: MP4, MOV, and original. Definition options are: low definition, HD ready, and full HD.

Indexing tab

Organize your files with color markers

Color markers allow you to identify sets of files in a batch to make it easier to find them and index them. You can directly apply your indexing (keywords and descriptive fields) in one go to files marked with the same color.

Pretty handy for saving you time, don’t you think? 😉

Create your own multilingual subtitles

Automatic creation of subtitles using voice recognition allows you to add subtitles in different languages to videos without importing or manually entering subtitles.

Advanced machine learning

Our teams have improved the image detection algorithm in the facial recognition module to meet your needs and improve your indexing.

Administration tab

You have access to the order history and a dashboard. This allows you to access the order history and visit the confirmation page for each order.  Filter by user, order status, or order date to create a customized history according to your needs, as well as manage orders in a simple, centralized way.

Synchronization within Ephoto Dam

When you have Ephoto Dam structured with multiple segments (intercontinental server infrastructure, or both local and public versions of Ephoto), you can now synchronize by collection all or part of your Ephoto segments according to your chosen configuration (publication, submission, etc.).

New processing servers with support from Nvidia GPUs

Videos are now processed by servers equipped with special GPUs for video processing speeds five to 10 times greater while both importing and exporting.
